Solsystemets fysik och rymdteknik
Within the Solar System Physics and Space Technology research program we explore the solar system. The group consists of scientists and engineers with different specialist skills who work together to develop and deliver space instruments for national and international scientific satellites. The projects are usually carried out together with ESA, NASA and other major space agencies. Job description
We are seeking an engineer who will primarily work with:
The process from idea to a finished instrument is mainly carried out at IRF and you will have an important role throughout the full project lifetime. Projects usually involve international collaborations, which can involve both domestic and international travels.
Production of technical documentation is an important part of the work, as well as being able to verbally communicate the results of the work.
Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering with a focus on electronics, or other equivalent competence that the employer deems equivalent.

Due to the extensive international contacts, it is important that you can express yourself very well in spoken and written English.
The work entails demand on independence, accuracy, initiative and the ability to solve problems in many technical areas. Ability to collaborate within the work group as well as with external parties is a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
